I have totally
redesigned the entire site and rebuilt the script that sends
postcards. I now have more control over what happens. Some parts
of the site may not work as expected but that is hopefully only
for a short while. |

There has been
a while since the last update of my site. I've moved and bought
a better computer. It has been a busy summer and all I managed
to get was 15 postcards. They were added to the site this evening.
I'm planning on redesigning the postcard pages, but more on

the new postcards pages that uses a MS Access database to hold
all the postcards. This will result in better search possibilties

Some of my visitors
have asked for city-names under each thumbnail. Until now this
has been quite tricky to achieve but now it's possible and it's
there! Thanks to Anders Jonson for pointing out some errors
that I've missed, he was also the latest to ask for the city-names,
and he got what he wanted! |

I've finally finished
my new ASP-script that makes it possible to view postcards from
a certain category. Say for example that you are interested
in hospitals (ehh, well...), now you can see all the postcards
with hospitals etc. For the moment I only have hospitals as
a category...but I will add other categories later on. |

Last week I visited
a meeting for postcards collectors and dealers and bought 30
postcards that have now been added to my site. Feel free to
use the new navigation aid on the thumbnail pages. You can now
choose with thumbnail page you want to view with a dropdown
list. The new postcards are on pages 21 to 23. I now have 276
postcards. |

I'm very embarassed
to notice that my postcard pages have been a mess with documents
in wrong frames, images that don't load etc. I belive I have
fixed the worst errors but I'll have to go through them all
to see if there is still something left...sorry for all this. |

I have rebuilt
the postcard pages with ASP to simplify the task of adding new
postcards to the site. Now I just upload three separate files
per postcard and the ASP takes care of the rest. With this new
improvement I have added 88 new postcards! |

I have updated
the site to use CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) for defining typefaces
and typeface sizes. This will ensure that the site displays
more correctly on Mac vs. PC etc. This will sadly make the site
to look bad on older browsers that are older than version 4.0.
Statistics show that over 80% of the visitors to my site uses
a browser that support CSS. New techniques should, if useful,
be used. Download a new browser today! |

I've managed to collect a whole
bunch of postcards since the last update. I put 19 of them in
the galleries today. As usual some of them are really cool.

accually I buy them and then I put them in the gallery. Anyway,
you can enjoy 12 new postcards today. Some really nice ones
this time (as always). Check out the second and fourth postcard

I really should work on the other sections of this site, but
I can never find time for it... but some day when you least

The thing I tried to do two days
ago now hopefully works and you shouldn't notice anything. I've
added a new feature (somewhat hidden though...) that prevents
the user from viewing any of my pages out of its original frameset.
